If there is something we can all agree on this year – I think it would be that this is the weirdest Holiday Season ever. For the first year since we launched Gluten-Free Prairie we didn’t participate in the Manhattan Christmas Stroll this year. Still we decorated the retail space – and it looks like a big showcase. Like so many things this year, it makes me happy and sad all at once.
Christmas Eve is just a day away. We’ll miss being with friends and family to enjoy the traditional Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup. Like so much of my baking and cooking since March, I continue to look for creative ways to make my traditional recipes. This year I’m mixing things up with a new take on the Christmas Eve tradition. I’ll make the usual Tomato Soup – but this year I’ll be serving it with Grilled Cheese Pizza.
