Gluten-Free Prairie Balsamic Butterscotch Sauce

Add this sauce to any dessert. We especially love it with our Brownie and ice cream to create a delicious and decadent dessert. No one will believe it's GF
Ingredients
- ⅓ C brown sugar (approx 68 gm)
- ½ Cup balsamic vinegar
- 3 TB butter, but into small pieces
- 1 teaspoon (GF) vanilla
- ⅓ cup heavy cream
- ½ kosher salt
Instructions
- Simmer balsamic vinegar in a small sauce pan over medium-high heat. Stir and reduce to a thick syrup, about 5 min. Add butter and brown sugar and cook, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved & butter is melted. (approx 2 min) . Remove from heat and add cream, salt and vanilla. Stir to incorporate all.
- Cool before serving.
