Ingredients
⅓ C brown sugar (approx 68 gm)
½ Cup balsamic vinegar
3 TB butter, but into small pieces
1 teaspoon (GF) vanilla
⅓ cup heavy cream
½ kosher salt
Instructions
Simmer balsamic vinegar in a small sauce pan over medium-high heat. Stir and reduce to a thick syrup, about 5 min. Add butter and brown sugar and cook, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved & butter is melted. (approx 2 min) . Remove from heat and add cream, salt and vanilla. Stir to incorporate all.
Cool before serving.
