Cranberry Pecan Brie Flatbread Pizza with Maple Drizzle

Amaze everyone with this delicious Gluten-Free Flatbread. Perfect for any season. Especially around the Holidays. A perfect appetizer or light dinner. No one will believe it's Gluten-Free

Ingredients
  • ½ package of Gluten-Free Prairie Pizza. Prepared from mix or Fresh Dough Ball
  • 1 TB butter (melted)
  • 1 TB oil of choice (we love olive or avocado oil)
  • 1 sweet onion. Thinly sliced
  • 1 8oz Brie cheese (no rind)
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup dried cranberries (or Crasins)
  • For Maple Drizzle
  • 2 TB pure maple sugar
  • 2 TB light brown sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Roll out ½ dough ball (11 ounces) to form a 12 in circle
  3. Bake for 14 min
  4. Remove from oven, spread with melted butter
  5. set aside
  6. Sauté onions in olive oil until tender (5-8 min)
  7. Sprinkle over pizza
  8. In a separate small sauce pan, mix brown sugar & maple syrup and heat on med-low until it boils. Reduce heat and simmer 1-2 min until foamy. Remove from heat and set aside
  9. Place Brie in medium size microwave-safe dish. Microwave in 30 sec increments until fully melted. (about 90 secs)
  10. Spread Brie evenly over pizza and sauteed onions
  11. Sprinkle pizza with pecans & Craisins and bake for 5 minutes
  12. Remove from oven, drizzle with maple glaze
  13. Slice
  14. Enjoy!
